Our panel, the Australian Regional Insights Community
For more than 20 years, we have maintained a dedicated panel of Australians who live and work in regional and rural Australia. This panel provides organisations and brands with direct access to valuable audience insights, through online and CATI (computer assisted telephone interviewing) research methodologies.

Agriculture
Our agricultural panel consists largely of farm owners and managers, the agri decision makers, across a large array of farm types including:
- Livestock - Particularly beef, sheep and dairy
- Broadacre farmers - Particularly cereals, oilseeds and pulses
- Grape growers, fruit and vegetable producers
We also have a subgroup of agricultural specialists on our panel including agronomists, contractors, veterinarians and rural retailers.
Regional and Rural Australians
Our regional and rural panel has Australians from all walks of life who live outside the state capitals.
What is regional Australia?
- Everything outside the capital cities
- 9.8 million people
- 36% of Australia's total population
- 14 of the 19 most populated cities in Australia are regional
How can clients benefit from including a regional view in their research?
Regional Australians are a high value audience who live in a less crowded media landscape.
- Nationally, only 17% of total media spend is directed towards regional areas, with media budgets overwhelming allocated towards the 5 major capital cities (Melbourne, Sydney, Perth, Brisbane and Adelaide) - providing more opportunities for brands and clients to stand out.
- The growth in regional areas is skewed towards young millennial families and workers who are at the ‘peak’ income stage of their lives
