Our Team

Laura Allen | Research and Insights Director
Laura has over 15 years experience as a dual quantitative and qualitative research, with experience at some of Australia and London’s top research agencies. Laura joined Australian Regional Insights from a long-term client-side role, and brings a unique skillset to help clients get the most of their research. She bridges the gap between research and industry to help activate insights within businesses.
She is the key point of contact for all projects, providing clients with director level guidance and experience.

Samar Shabbir | Insights Manager
Samar brings over 10 years of experience in Market research, with a background that spans global agency work at Kantar and in-house research at 7-Eleven Australia. She brings a solid background in Brand Health tracking, Ad-copy testing, Voice of Customer, U&A studies, and New product testing. Samar focuses on translating data into clear, actionable insights that measurably improve how brands serve Agri and Regional communities.

Nicole Kleanthi | Research Operations Manager
Nicole has a background in marketing and is responsible for panel management at Australian Regional Insights. Prior to joining the team, she worked in operations for one of Australia’s largest customer owned banks, with a strong focus on supporting local communities.
Nicole oversees the operational aspects of all projects, both online and CATI, including sampling and fieldwork.

We have a dedicated team of experienced research interviewers based in Adelaide. Our team have spoken with over 5,600 Australians in FY25 on topics ranging from agricultural machinery, though to fly strike, honey and agri-tech.
